About me
Freelancing is only one part of my work life. I'm also a book reviews editor at Publishers Weekly, where I handle reviews of science fiction, fantasy, horror, romance, and erotica. I co-host Publishers Weekly Radio on Sirius XM's Book Radio channel. I'm editor-at-large for #24MAG, a magazine where each issue is created from start to finish in 24 hours. I volunteer with speculative fiction conventions Arisia and Readercon, and the Hunter College Campus Schools. I'm proud to be a full member of the Editorial Freelancers Association and the Freelancers Union, and an affiliate member of Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America and Romance Writers of America. I believe strongly in giving back to my communities and especially enjoy teaching children and teens.
